The Tester marches on, inexorably, indifferent to our anguish. Eight contestants are left in Sony’s reality dog-and-pony show, in which the hapless participants are made to debase themselves in search of a job. The Tester would be some of the most boring and uneventful 22 minutes in television if it were on television, but instead it is on the PlayStation Network. At the end of this series, one contestant “wins” a position in Sony’s quality assurance department.
